The thing about losing weight is that it doesn't always go smoothly. So, chances are... somewhere along the way... you're going to have some questions.
Maybe you're wondering what's the best way to lose weight, given a particular situation. Or, you've heard something about how to lose weight and you want to know if it's true. Or you're not sure how to overcome a challenge or barrier that's caused you to plateau.
The possible weight loss questions you could come up with are just about endless, right? So I thought it might be helpful to create this "Ask a Nurse" section of the site, where you can find answers in the form of weight loss advice and general tips for weight loss that might help you with whatever is perplexing you.

I'm a registered nurse... have been for more than 3 decades! So I know a lot about the human body and how to make healthy lifestyle choices. Healthy living is also my passion and so I continue to learn and read about it. I love to share that knowledge, so that's what you'll find here. But I can't speak to your individual health condition in depth or offer you medical advice, so please don't ask me to.
